What Are We Doing To Prevent Climate Change?

1. Minimize the use of plastic 

In plastic products, such as water bottles, plastic bag, etc, release  ethylene and methane gases when exposed to sunlight.

2. Using less electricity

Turn off electricity when it's not needed.  For the example, turn off lights and appliances when you don’t  need them. 

3. Respect and protect green space

Green space, such as parks and gardens, are important. They absorb carbon dioxide and associated with lower levels of air pollution.

4. Try to minimize waste

Repair and reuse.  Avoid wasting foods. Give unwanted items by donating. Use tumblr and stainless steel straw

• What is Renewable Energy?

Renewable energy is an energy that is generated from sources that naturally replenish themselves and never run out.

• Source renewable energy

A renewable energy source means energy that is sustainable - something that can't run out, or is endless, like the sun. When you hear the term 'alternative energy' it's usually referring to renewable energy sources too. It means sources of energy that are alternatives to the most commonly used non-sustainable sources - like coal.

Renewable resources include biomass energy (such as ethanol), hydropower, geothermal power, wind energy, and solar energy.

The most popular renewable energy sources currently are:

• Solar energy.

• Wind energy.

• Hydro energy.

• Tidal energy.

• Geothermal energy.

• Biomass energy.

• Advantages and Disadvantages of Renewable Energy

Advantages of Renewable Energy

Environmental and economic benefits of using renewable energy include:

• Generating energy that produces no greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels and reduces some types of air pollution

• Diversifying energy supply and reducing dependence on imported fuels

• Creating economic development and jobs in manufacturing, installation, and more

Disadvantages of Renewable Energy

The main disadvantages of this renewable energy are:

• The Electricity Generation Capacity is Still Not Large Enough.

• Low-efficiency Levels. 

• Takes a Lot of Space to Install.

 Deutsch lernen (A1): Ganzer Film auf Deutsch - "Nicos Weg"

Hi, everyone! On this page I will review the German film "Nicos Weg"

In my opinion, this film can make us to understand Deutsch and this film is suitable for beginners like me.

This film tells of a man named Nico, he comes from Spain who is about to go to Germany to meet his aunt named Yara. Because of his parents, he must meet his aunt. Arriving in Germany, the bag that he was carrying was lost because someone took him at the airport. The bag contains essential items. Then, he met a woman named Lisa. Lisa has a police father. So, they asked him for help. Finally Nico went to Lisa's house. 

There Nico met Lisa's friends. They also always help Nico to learn German. Nico also learned about the culture there. Meanwhile, Lisa's friend, Selma, found her bag. 

From this film, I also learned a lot. Such as helping others, understanding a new culture too, and many more.
